Edinburgh Capitals & Space Clinics - October 2009
Continuing on from last years successful partnership Space Clinics are delighted to announce that we will be identified as the official Sports Medicine Clinic to the Edinburgh Capitals ice hockey team in the bmibaby Elite Ice Hockey League for a 4th season. During the 2009/2010 season Space Clinics will provide extensive physiotherapy treatment for injured players and help return them to match fitness.
Edinburgh Capitals have announced a number of significant signings for this season. Cody Rudkowsky who has a wealth of experience in both ECHL and AHL and was an ECHL All Star in 05-06, has signed as their number one netminder.
British forward Neil Hay, who was the 3rd top scoring British player on points last season, decided to remain with the Edinburgh Capitals for another season. Having played for them his entire career he will continue to play a lot of minutes this coming season.
Also returning for another season is Mark Paterson. Having already played for the Edinburgh Capitals for 2 seasons the decision to return for a 3rd was easy for Mark. He will play an increased role this season and is ready for the challenge.
Scott Neil said, "Space Clinics have been a fantastic partner over the last few years and have provided exceptional specialist support to our players. It is a key area for the club and provides a considerable level of comfort when we know guys like Doug Christiansen will be provided the best possible care and attention in their rehabilitation. Having players back from injury, fit and ready to play as soon as possible is a priority to the Capitals and I believe Space Clinics are the best in the business at achieiving this objective."
